Conniston Middle’s Science Night was held on October 25th. Mission India had the privilege of a Q and A with fair goers regarding global water conditions and its scientific relevancy. Students discussed with parents and their peers what our project has been up to both past and present. The above poster and donation box were the remnants after clean up of two very intricate booths displaying Mission India apparel, mehndi (henna) tattoos, diyas, and candy and popcorn sales. It was a great night in which our student ambassadors were able to raise just under $250.00 in only two hours.
These students are working hard at reaching their goal, and have plans for many more booth opportunities throughout Palm Beach County. Science Night was a great way to “warm up” and have meaningful dialogue to educate and inform others.
