What a day for India Fest!  The weather was spectacular and the lineup even beat the weather.  Conniston was able to set up at booth 22 located next to the stage, and managed to raise well over $1000 throughout the day to benefit our phase two.

We had some great signs and postcards to advertise to the general public about the goings-on over the past two years.

Highlights were definitely sampling the fabulous foods, visiting with previous students who came back to see us and even volunteer, listening to Benny Dayal who is an actor, Bollywood singer, and judge on The Voice India perform, and watching Conniston ambassadors sweep the middle school category for the India Fest Essay Contest and accept their monetary checks!  Our winners were:

1st Place- Olivia Salazar ($300)

2nd Place- Rosemary Yool-Vidal ($200)

3rd Place- Kieran Abesamis ($100)

We’d like to thank Palm Beach India Association for being so supportive of our project, our students, and our school.  They have truly been open to sharing the Indian culture with the school and the relationship that we have built has been wonderful.
